Reviews
Amazing venue where you can go up or down to see the show from different angles. Great artist, some food which is nice, & awesome customer service.
I do wish they would do a better job advertising the price & types of alcohol they have.
Fantastic venue!
Wide open space to accommodate LOTS of people and plenty of bars and bathrooms located around the facility to get people moving back to the act as quick as possible.
I bought tickets for the premium balcony seating and it was fantastic watching everything from above! The balconies had standing space and seats (there were even seats outside of the premium sections as well).
The speakers were directly next to the premium balcony seats, so if you end up purchasing this sort of seating, I HIGHLY recommend bringing earplugs (it won't take away from the experience, I promise).
All in all, a great venue, similar in size to the House of Blues.
This was my third time at Roadrunner and it's a great venue. Parking is across the street at a big garage, you can't miss it when you turn down the street the venue is on. It's usually $20 to park for an event, which is pretty reasonable.
The venue itself is pretty big, with a 3,500 capacity, but it's always very clean and the staff is super helpful. A friend had a medical emergency here once during a show and the staff was really quick to notice and help us. They also hand out water to the pit during concerts if necessary.
The only complaint I ever have had is that drinks are really expensive. I paid $25 for a large vodka cran, which is a lot, but they're very generous with the pour so you do get your money's worth. Just be prepared for the price.
We went to Stephen Sanchez's concert and overall had a great time!
The definite pros were:
- It's all general admission, so if you show up ~30 before the door opens, you will most certainly get great viewing spots.
- there are 4 bars total and bathrooms on both floors for easy access (the drinks are expensive though from what I heard)
The definite cons were:
- the acoustics were not as great as some people might say. There were times I could not understand a single word of a song.
- it gets hot in there, oh gosh! Several people were helped outside by the staff after almost fainting.
- the quick pass is so friggin' stupid - it's $25 to basically end up with everyone else mixed together. The vip balcony - also a total waste of money.
But overall, I'd go there again.
Well laid out venue. Really enjoyed the vip room and balcony. It was great to have our own bathrooms and bar. Sound was excellent and the people that worked there seemed to actually enjoy their jobs
First time at this place. It was ok, nothing great. Of course, there was a lot of a younger crowd, which made it more annoying. And of course, what place has any seating unless you're in vip. Which I think is horrible in any venue now a days. And then on top of it , one of the workers was actually on his phone half the time looking on grinder 🤨🤨🤔🤔 nice work.... anyways
Great concert venue! Saw Jordan Davis there last night and he put on an incredible show. I'm not sure if it was because it's on the outside of Boston or not, but parking was surprisingly easy to find and they were processing people through the line pretty quickly so we didn't have to wait to get in. Standard open floor on the first level but there was way better views and it was less crowded on the second level.
Great medium sized club layout music venue. Wrap around balcony which looks like it has great views. Great big stage means an extra large pit. Ample Walkable parking!
